Union Communication: Celebrating Black History Month (02/01/23)

nteu337

In honor of Black History Month, NTEU is celebrating Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, a civil rights pioneer, educator and government leader.

Last year, she became the first Black American honored in the U.S. Capitol’s National Statuary Hall.

“To those of you with your years of service still ahead, the challenge is yours. Stop doubting yourselves. Have the courage to make up your minds and hold your decisions. Refuse to be BOUGHT for a nickel, or a million dollars, or a job!”

― Mary McLeod Bethune
